hello welcome, please take your time look around im sure you will learn somthing today.

Doing this will allow you to access the media content of your pc on your ps3.
Which means u will be able to move the files on there to the ps3 or just view the files on the pc on the ps3.

1. Setting up your ps3 media

2. First of all download windows media player 11.

3. Then install it.

4. After it’s all installed open it.

5. Then you will see tabs at the top saying “now playing” “library” “rip” and so on =) click on the little ARROW
just under the word library and it will bring a scroll list down. There will be a
option named “media sharing...” click on it.

6. It will come up with devices (ps3 or xbox360 must be turned on and it will be called unknown device) allow the ps3 or xbox360.
Think you’re done?? No your not...

7. Now you got to add all your music pictures and videos to the library Go to the scrool menu again and click
“add to library” It will come up with check boxes tick one and then hit ADVANCED
OPTIONS>> click it.

8. Then click the add button then go round and select every folder that has music, pics and vids so your ps3 or xbox360 can find them..
Then click OK.

it will add the files and 1 2 3 bobs your auntie =S

9. Then go to your ps3 and click find media servers (if it hasn’t come up)
And you should know what to do from there.....
remember works for xbox 360 as well
